Wildwind has won the Observer and Eccentric Hometown Newspaper Stable of the Year award for the past 7 years.  On average our 7-16 year old campers come to Wildwind camp for 3 years, and Tiny Tots much longer. Wildwind offers year round Riding lessons for ages 4-84.

One of our specialties is our Tiny Tots Program for ages 4-6; we offer both Summer Camps and Weekly Lessons.  Children get a hands-on introduction to horses and ponies while being taught by our enthusiastic instructors, and assisted by one of Wildwind student helpers, they participate in riding lessons along with horse related activities from the ground.

For ages 7-16 we offer Summer Camp and weekly lessons that are appropriate for their riding level, this includes everyone from first day beginners  to riders jumping 2’6”.  Camps are held M-F from 9-3.

All camps include age appropriate horsemanship, grooming and saddling, games, horse care, feeding, colors and markings, and horse first aid. Tiny Tots campers will also enjoy horse themed arts and crafts as part of their camp day.

A Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor offers private lessons for students starting at age 2.

We have a senior program for anyone 50 and over interested in trying, or getting back into horseback riding.   Seniors look forward to improvement in balance, physical fitness, coordination, mental health, and socialization.  Our daytime senior program is offered at a discounted rate.

Looking for other services, Wildwind also offers horse shows, fun nights, boarding, training and sales.
