All of our activities are led/taught/supervised by a carefully selected, energetic staff comprised of teachers, athletes, coaches, college students and family. New for 2015: Kayaks, a new dimension for the waterfront and boating program!
Campers choose the activities they want to do. we encourage campers to try new things, make new friends and enjoy the lake. Each session, each activity begins with a short 'learn the game' segment. We teach fundamentals that we feel enables a level of comfort, knowledge and skill building that will lead to more confident participation and enjoyment.
Lunches are prepared from scratch in our camp kitchen. we have the sandwich of the day, could be Sloppy Joes, Hot Dogs, grilled cheese, chicken, turkey, ham,egg salad or homemade cheese pizza. We offer peanut butter & jelly every day.
Sandwiches come with a side of chips or vegetables and we serve fresh fruit each day. Our desserts include homemade cookies, brownies, cakes and watermelon. We encourage healthy portions and campers are welcome to seconds.
Campers receive a 'camp bag' with their name written on the front! we encourage parents to put names on everything!
We encourage all new campers and the families to visit camp during one of our Orientation days.

Mr. Whiz wanted to give children from Ann Arbor and the surrounding area the experience of camp and he wanted to give children the opportunity to make their own decisions about what activities they wanted to do!65 years later, the same structure is in place. we offer a program full of sports, swimming and boating on a crystal clean, spring fed lake and diverse activities, including our 'M Victors Garden' and our nature hikes and archaeology adventures!
