Glenlore Trails: The Witching Hour – A Spellbinding Family Adventure in Southeast Michigan
Looking for a unique and unforgettable fall experience for the whole family? Just a short drive from Livingston County, Glenlore Trails in Commerce Township is back this season with its most enchanting event yet: The Witching Hour. Opening September 25, 2025, this immersive night walk transforms a mile-long wooded trail into a glowing, interactive world of magic, mystery, and fun for all ages. This has become a fun, fall family tradition for us. We are looking forward to heading back this year. 
🌙 What to Expect
As twilight falls, the forest awakens with dazzling lights, eerie sounds, and whimsical surprises around every bend. This year’s theme, The Witching Hour, invites guests to explore a world where witches weave spells, potions bubble in the dark, and glowing enchantments dance across the trees. With reversed trail direction and new interactive elements, even returning visitors will enjoy a fresh perspective.
Families can expect:
- Interactive light displays and soundscapes
- Magic wand stations (bring your wand from previous years!)
- Face painting and balloon twisting on select nights
- Trick-or-treating on October 26 – costumes encouraged!
- Food trucks and concessions, including adult beverages for guests 21+
- Live music on special event nights
