We were looking to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday with friends and his older siblings. With Michigan weather being unpredictable, we sought out some indoor fun. We found the answer when searching the Ypsilanti area where my oldest son attends Eastern Michigan University. Big Best in Games (BIG) in Ypsilanti is the perfect destination is you are looking for indoor family fun or a date night out! With high-speed karts, a vibrant gaming floor, and a variety of activities for all ages, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
High-Speed Karting
Experience the adrenaline rush of high-speed karting on BIG's custom-designed indoor track. Located on the third floor, these pro-style Italian go-karts offer a thrilling ride for both beginners and experienced racers. It's a fantastic activity for kids and adults alike, making it a great choice for family fun or competitive racing with friends.
This was perfect for our group of teens and young adults. The speed was exciting and the atmosphere was fun. They recently added double carts which can be great for a teen date night or parent and child.

Gaming Floor
BIG's gaming floor is packed with a wide range of arcade games, from classic favorites to the latest releases. Whether you're a fan of pinball, racing games, or interactive experiences, you'll find plenty to keep you entertained. The gaming floor is suitable for all ages, ensuring that everyone can join in on the fun.
The interactive games were our favorite. 4-way air hockey and Skee ball is always a hit with my kids. Tickets are earned through game play. All tickets go right back on your game card which makes it very convenient. Tickets can be exchanged for a variety of items. Our group cashed in to get slushies and candy. The boys talked about coming back to win tickets to trade for big ticket items like movie memorabilia and sign sports items.
