This week we are highlighting a great playground in Brighton. Check out the play area at Hornung Elementary.

Located at 4680 Bauer Rd in Brighton this school playground is a great stop on your way into Brighton's shopping areas.
My kids and I have made this a MUST-STOP-AT playground over the years. There are so many different areas with a variety of structures for kids of all ages. Climbing, sliding and overall movement are all at play on this playground.
You can find many unique structures that you won't see at other area parks.
This playground is located behind Hornung Elementary so it is not available for use by the public when classes are in session.
Some notable points about this playground.
- Plenty of seating for families to sit and relax
- Shaded area with a FREE LITTLE LIBRARY (Bring a book to donate)
- Wide variety of structures for all ages
- Very clean and well maintained
- No public restroom
- Close to downtown shopping area, makes for a great spot to get energy out before or after a visit downtown Brighton
