Summer officially kicks off in Howell this week. The Howell Chamber of Commerce brings you the Michigan Challenge Balloonfest.
The 2023 Michigan Challenge Balloonfest will take place Friday, June 23rd – Sunday, June 25th at Howell High School. Wade Shows Carnival, Family Fun Tent, Open-Air Marketplace & much more will be on the grounds of the festival to keep everyone entertained throughout the weekend.
The showstopper, of course, will be the amazing hot air balloons that fill the sky over Howell. Families from in and around Livingston County have enjoyed this site for 38 years!
The Saturday night balloon glow is a must-see attraction at the Michigan Challenge. About 20 hot-air balloons will inflate on the launch field and glow their envelopes against the beautiful summer night sky.
