Each summer IXL Learning Center of Birmingham, Hamburg, Howell, Northville and South Lyon offer a summer camp program for preschool and school-age children ages 4 and up. Our program is available Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm. The Program is led by a certified Elementary teacher, who keeps the focus educational, yet fun during our summer months. Days are filled with fieldtrips, theme days, art, journal writing, experiments, outdoor activities, sports, water play, and good friends!

“I love football day, we get to wear our favorite team stuff.”
“Spa day was the best! Painting nails, glitter and even tattoos…so much fun!”
“Camp IXL, bringing my tent and being able to camp at school was awesome.”
Crazy outfits are encouraged at IXL, what was your craziest?
“I wore pigtails, a shirt with paint splatters for the decades theme.”
“It wasn’t crazy but for Disney Day I dressed like a princess.”
“I was a wacky tourist with giant sunglasses.”
Picnic lunches are a staple during field trip days, what did you enjoy the most?
“Pizza and popsicle at the park.”
“I liked having a turkey sandwich, oreos, juice and fruit.”
“I LOVE every lunch, they are sooo good!”

“Castaway Café, Splash n Blast, and U of M.”
“Pool, waterpark, kids museum.”
“I’d have to go with the jump place (Jump City), Paradise Park, water park.”

“Inflatable water slide!”
“Love the slide, played with my friends and played in the sprinkler.”

Summer means reviewing what you learned over the school year, what do you plan on working on this summer?
“Reading, I love it”

“Lots of board games, experiments, and water play.”
