Bounce - Little Things That Make It A Fantastic Experience

Bounce Celebreates 10 Years

August 14, 2014
This past weekend Bounce, located inside of Hartland Sports Center, celebrated its ten (10) year anniversary. They hosted a "knock your socks off" birthday celebration.  There was face painting, hair coloring, a photo booth, bounce house, performances, and of course best of all, pure "bouncing" as referred to my macaronis.  Although my youngest thought the chocolate and white cupcakes were the best part of the day.

Bounce has been part of our family since 2007!  I took my first child there to preschool playtime when he was only one.  It has been the go to place to burn off energy, guarantee a good afternoon nap, and plain enjoyment.  Once my oldest was actually a preschooler, it became the meet-up of our moms group many Friday mornings the winter of 2008.  With my second child attached to the baby Bjorn, my son and I would navigate the various areas of Bounce.  Starting with the trampolines.  Top secret tip, the trampoline closest to the doors is the most bouncy. Then creating an obstacle course with the gymnastics foamies, to swinging on the rings and hanging from the bars.  As the children got older, my son started the 4's class and started learning not only gymnastics, but social skills and self confidence.  All things that have helped with sports over the years.  By that time my third child was born, my older daughter at aged 4 started classes that she is still active in today.

My children, now 7, 5 and almost 3 have spent many days this summer at the Open Bounces.  I am amazed to watch my older children run down the running track and flip midair into the foam pit.  Or climb up to the high bars and drop into the foam pit.  Still having a little one, I am always on the floor with my kids chasing after them and observing their firsts - climbing the rope just a little bit higher, swinging from the high bars a little bit faster, and watching their confidence develop.

Bounce is not just about gymnastics.  Its about helping children reach their greatest potential.  They learn confidence, social skills, self esteem and problem solving. It's good for their minds and their bodies.

If you have never attended bounce, try them out this summer.  They have open bounce Monday to Friday 1:00 - 3:00 pm.  Also Saturday, August 23rd from 6:00-7:30 pm.  More information here.  If you have older children (over 5) they have a "Schools Out, We're In Program" Monday to Thursday 9:00-5:00 pm, and Friday 12:00-5:00 pm.  Parents can drop their child off knowing they are supervised with instructors.  More information here.  Starting in the fall there will be preschool playtime and a baby bounce for children under 2.  Be sure to check to macaroni kid calendar for dates or Bounces website.

Bounce is the place to stimulate, engage and entertain your kids.
