Great Escape Stables is a professional Hunter/Jumper riding stable that welcomes students year round to our goal oriented lesson program. During the summer we welcome even more students who wish to learn about horses and riding though our structured summer day camp. Our summer camps are designed to engage riders in all aspects of being an equestrian in a safe, fun and positive atmosphere!
Great Escape Stables Summer Camp Program: Campers work hands on with their horses in grooming, tacking, bathing, riding, general stable management of their horse and many other aspects of the world of horses. All campers are assigned a horse for the week and receive a morning lesson each day given by a certified instructor.
Horsemanship & Horsemastership camps are Monday through Friday and focus exclusively on horses and horse care. In addition to lessons, campers work in the stable learning hands on how to care for their horse and their horse’s environment.
Our Young Rider mini-camp focuses on introducing campers to safety, grooming, basic riding skills, horse care (bathing, feeding, breeds, makings etc) through hands on activities. This camp is half day Monday through Wednesday.
All camp activities are supervised by the head trainer who is CPR & First Aid certified.
Summer Lesson Program: Summer riding lessons are a great addition to your camp session or if you are looking for more flexibility then summer camp we offer lessons too! Lessons are open to ALL ages and levels. We are a ground up riding program so we offer instruction in everything from grooming and tacking up to instruction in the saddle!

General Riding Lessons: June through August, All ages & levels
Horsemanship: 7 to 13 years old with basic riding experience. $425 per session
Horsemastership: 8 to 15 years old with ongoing experience who are ready for canter & jump work. $425 per session.
Young Ride Mini-Camp: 3 to 6 years old with little to no experience. $175
