Dont Miss the Spooktacular and Other October Happenings

At Bounce, Located Within the Hartland Sports Center

October 9, 2015

For the month of October, several great things are happening at Bounce. The gym will transform into a palate of colors celebrating the autumn season, and as the month goes on transform into a gigantic Halloween extravaganza.  The Preschool classes will continue to build their skills while whirling and twirling through the fall leaves.  3-5 year olds will practice bar pullovers, forward rolls, floor cartwheels amongst a colorful assortment of fall leaves and other seasonal treasures.

Then during the week of Fire Safety, October 5-11, Bounce will educate children in a fun and positive environment the importance of fire safety.  Little gymnasts will incorporate fire safety into warm up routines and obstacles while learning important skills such as stop, drop and roll and stay low and go.  Children will leap over fire spots, have the opportunity to be the fireman while donning fire hats.  They will also practice with hoops to drive the fire truck, and slide down the slide from the firehouse.

Last but not least, the annual Halloween Spooktacular will be held on Sunday, October 25, from 1:30-3:30  pm, $12 members, $15 nonmembers, parents free.  The haunted gym will have games, prizes, raffles, cider and donuts, hairspray paint and face paint, a tattoo parlor and Halloween crafts.  Bats will be swinging from the bars, the beams will be filled with creepy spiders and cats, the rings are transformed to witches hats.  Children will crawl through a spooky tunnel and later trick or treat.

When you pass through the doors of Bounce, high energy is the word that comes to mind.  It is a vibrant facility packed with colorful equipment, filled with gymnastics practicing their skills, and a hands on educational experience.  They offer a variety of programs and classes all year round to children and teens of all ages. Even through the sessions have started, registration is always on-going.  Best of all, Bounce offers a free trial class to try it before committing to the program.

Outside of classes, many families first experience Bounce through their Preschool Playtime programs which is geared for children ages 2-5. Small children and their caregiver utilize the various areas of the gym on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings.  Others participate in the Open Bounce Program which is open to all ages, and especially popular for tweens and teens on Friday evenings.  Every Friday’s afternoons and during the summer the Schools Out We’re Inprogram is incredibly helpful to parents to offer a safe environment for their children (ages 5 and up) to practice their skills, burn off some energy and just plain have fun.
